Description
Hand turned traditional style honey dipper created from locally sourced Elm.
English Elm, though an introduced tree, was once a common sight across much of the country unfortunately it has become a much rarer sight since the arrival of Dutch Elm Disease in the 1980’s which wiped out the majority of large trees. Now elm trees only grows for about 20 years before succumbing to the disease. The wood used to make this honey dipper came from one such unfortunate tree.
