Description
Flappy is the first book in the Merlin Woods Series. It tells the story of a pigeon whose wings are very long and flap too loudly.
He is bullied by the others and even asked to leave the woods. Lonely; he is now lost.
He hears of the kidnapping of the princess of the Claddagh and attempts to save her.
It is this very feature that ends up making him a hero.
With this storytelling session, we are trying to tell children to believe in themselves and never to let the bullies take the upper hand.
