The Laois Heritage Journal has become one of the flagships of the society since it was first published in 2002. Now we are pleased to present Volume 11 and, like its ten predecessors, it has a delightful mix of articles and graphic content, mostly focused on matters of Laois interest.
The Society has been flying the flag for Laois heritage for half a century, from a time when such matters were considered a mere minority interest and somewhat of secondary importance. Now our heritage is acknowledged as one of the country’s biggests assets and plays an important part in our lives and in our communities. It is part of what we are.
